Have not seen Watts mentioned for a long time. I stumbled on to him in my early 20s. A radio station used to play his audio lectures at about 2am weekly. Once I had heard the first one, I didn't want to miss the next.

I didn't always understand what he was saying but his soothing and confident voice was very persuasive, and there often seemed to be a profundity about what he was saying.
