Kind of like movie theaters in the 50s and 60s. Going to the movies was an event!! People dressed up. The theaters were ornate. It was like going to the Met.

There were intermissions (they should still have those; who wants to sit for over 2hrs without at break?)

But now we can see most movies after they come out, 2 wks later on our TVs. Things change.
