People may not think that those phrases are serious, but the expression and espousal of the same has the same effect even so. The fact of the matter is, the Man-Hating woman is little different from any of the other bigots in the world.

It is a cheap way of dealing with an entire sex/gender. You cannot be against racism and at the same time think that Man-Hating is OK. It is Bigotry writ large.
