The alcohol / caffeine yo yo is very common in your profession (law). it demands that you be humming at an 11, bright and early in the morning and often all day long, sometimes well into the evening too.
Not very good for your mental health, but they don’t spend much time on that issue in law school.
I found it nearly impossible to eliminate alcohol if i didn’t also either eliminate or greatly reduce caffeine. took a long time to figure that out. I think you are on to something, and yes, of course caffeine hugely affects your anxiety. keep moving forward!!
