These young women are some of the bravest people on earth. I have followed them for years. Their notoriety, acts and deeds highlight, much more than others, the human rights issues and violent politics of their former homeland.

It would be inspiring to see more artists get actively involved in world change, in a manner similar to what occurred in the '60s.
